Working with us

We believe that we are a great employer and look after our staff. In 2020 we launched a Wellness package for staff which included access to free counselling through an Employee Assistance Programme, free flu injections and an App which allows staff access to a number of retail discounts. Further, in addition to the availability of teas and coffees in our clinics, we also provide free fruit as a healthy alternative to the usual cookies and cakes.

Hand Rehab supports our therapists in obtaining their hand therapy registration by providing the time to undertake further training as well as paying the course fees.

We employ an experienced hand therapist as a dedicated trainer and run in-service training on a regular basis, in addition to fortnightly clinic meetings where we focus on issues of the day and full day training days at least twice per year.

Supervision happens weekly so that all therapists receive the support of a more senior therapist where patient cases, case studies, and other matters of the day are discussed.

Despite the geographical separation of our clinics, we aim to have at least a couple of social functions each year, usually aligned to Christmas and mid-winter. In the past we have enjoyed meals out, and ‘Escape Room’ experiences.
